Hickens Family Session

When I heard that the Hicken’s family was expecting baby #3 I was so excited for them and even more thrilled that they asked me to capture this exciting time in their lives. We picked a day during winter break and got really lucky with the weather and my favorite spot in Morristown.

The best thing about family sessions is that we can document how families grow over the years. With every new member added to the family, and every milestone reached.

We set out to Loantaka for our session. It was a great day, just as winter was turning into spring. My favorite shot of all of these is the one of Ellie and Harper holding hands on the grass. How adorable are they? Imagine being able to fit into shoes that little. They are such sweet siblings and were fully ready to take on their new role as big sisters.

Shortly after this session, they welcomed a baby boy, Carter, to their sweet family. I’m so glad they have these photos to remember their last days as a family of 4.
