Golden Field Inspired Styled Shoot

I am so excited to finally share my first mini styled shoot! I had been dreaming this up for months and seeing it finally come to life makes me so unbelievably happy. The day started off with a bit of craziness as our bride and groom had a medical emergency. Frantically, I reached out to everyone I know and weirdly asked them if the wanted to be a bride for the day...totally normal, I know.

Luckily, another talented photographer stepped up to the plate. And mannn, I am so glad she did. Tori is an absolute beauty and I was so grateful that she was willing to help me out last minute. That's the beauty of this community, people come together. And for this styled shoot, I had some of the best.

Christina from Tame Florals is someone I've been following for a while. Her designs are not your average bouquet and she has an eye for mixing colors. After sending her my design board, she came up with this mix of wildflowers in nudes, golds and dusty blues. I absolutely love this bouquet. It was massive in the best possible way and smelled like heaven. Christina also made a half crown with fresh flowers and it was such a sweet surprise. Half crowns are the new full crowns. I promise.

Amanda from A Beauty By Amanda was our makeup artist. I met Amanda as a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding and her makeup was flawless. I knew she would be the perfect person to collaborate with for my shoot and I was right.

Amanda from AJCakes Hair gave us a perfect boho wave that complimented the entire look of the shoot. It was romantic and soft. She pulled a few pieces back to showcase the floral half-crown. I just loved it.

The gown was the Brisa gown from BHLDN. A wedding gown with a hint of color is my jam and I love seeing brides getting more and more creative with different hues. The blush sparkling in the golden field and even though we were pulled bugs out of the tulle, it was totally worth it.
